La Yegros in Clermont-Ferrand

La Yegros is the stage name of Argentine singer Mariana Yegros, an electrocumbia artist from Buenos Aires whose family roots are in Misiones. She plays cumbia and chamamé shaped by electronic production, and became known through “Viene de Mí,” the title track of her 2013 debut album. Magnetismo and Suelta followed. La Yegros has toured internationally and performed at WOMAD in England. Her concerts feature a live band built around her voice, percussion, accordion and electronics, a setup she has brought to club rooms and outdoor stages including Roskilde Festival in Denmark.
