Artist
Ladaniva is an Armenian-French folk-pop group formed in Lille in 2019 by singer Jaklin Baghdasaryan and multi-instrumentalist Louis Thomas. Their music draws on Armenian folk traditions and sounds gathered across the Balkans, Russia and Latin America; they are known for “Kef Chilini,” “Jako” and the self-titled album Ladaniva. In 2024, the group represented Armenia at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö, performing “Jako” with a full band. After qualifying through the second semi-final, they performed the song again in the grand final at Malmö Arena.
