Lael Neale in Glasgow

Lael Neale is an American singer-songwriter raised in Virginia whose spare indie folk and pop songs often center on her voice and Omnichord. She became known to a wider audience through the Sub Pop albums Acquainted with Night and Star Eaters Delight, including songs such as “Every Star Shivers in the Dark,” “For No One For Now” and “I Am the River.” In 2021, she performed songs from Acquainted with Night alone with her Omnichord for an NPR Tiny Desk (Home) Concert. After the release of Star Eaters Delight, she presented its material in a live studio session for KEXP.
