About Lala Lala
Lala Lala is an indie-rock project formed in Chicago by songwriter and musician Lillie West. The project plays guitar-led indie rock marked by lo-fi textures and dream-pop melodies, and is known for the albums Sleepyhead, The Lamb and I Want the Door to Open, as well as songs including “Destroyer” and “Water Over Sex.”
In 2019, Lala Lala toured songs from The Lamb and performed at Pitchfork Music Festival in Chicago. Concerts supporting I Want the Door to Open later took West and her touring band through North America and Europe, including an appearance at Primavera Sound in Barcelona.
