Lambrini Girls are a British punk duo from Brighton, comprising vocalist and guitarist Phoebe Lunny and bassist Lilly Macieira. Their confrontational songs address misogyny, homophobia and workplace culture; early releases including “Help Me I’m Gay” and “Boys in the Band” led to the 2023 EP You’re Welcome and the album Who Let the Dogs Out. In 2023, Lambrini Girls performed at Glastonbury Festival before joining Iggy Pop’s Dog Day Afternoon concert at Crystal Palace Park in London, where Blondie and Generation Sex also appeared. Headline club tours in Britain and Europe followed You’re Welcome, and the duo later took its guitar-bass-drums set to North America. Their festival history also includes Reading and Leeds Festivals.
BIG SPECIAL are a British punk duo from the Black Country, formed by vocalist Joe Hicklin and drummer Callum Moloney. They play post-punk and punk blues, moving between spoken-word passages and sung vocals. Their debut album, POSTINDUSTRIAL HOMETOWN BLUES, includes “SHITHOUSE,” “THIS HERE AIN’T WATER” and “BLACK DOG / WHITE HORSE.” In 2023, the duo supported Sleaford Mods on a UK tour. They followed those dates by performing at Glastonbury Festival and Reading and Leeds Festivals in 2024.
