Lande Hekt in Düsseldorf

Lande Hekt is a British singer-songwriter and guitarist from Exeter, first known as the lead singer of indie-punk band Muncie Girls. Her solo work pairs melodic indie rock with direct writing about queer identity and personal change; the albums Going to Hell and House Without a View include songs such as “Gay Space Cadets,” “December” and “80 Days of Rain.” She spent much of the 2010s touring as the singer and guitarist of Muncie Girls before taking her solo records onto club stages with a full band. In 2022, she brought that format to UK support dates for The Beths.
