Larry Hernández is a Mexican-American singer, born in 1977, whose regional Mexican repertoire centers on corridos, narcocorridos and banda. Raised in Sinaloa, he became known for the album 16 Narco Corridos and the song “El Querendón y Cajetoso.” The live album En Vivo: Desde Culiacán documents Larry Hernández performing his corrido repertoire before an audience.
Roberto Tapia is an American regional Mexican singer, born in San Diego in 1981 and raised in northwestern Mexico. He performs corridos, norteño and banda songs, and is known for recordings including “El Niño de la Tuna,” “Mirando al Cielo” and “Las Edades.” At 17, Roberto Tapia made his professional debut in Tijuana after several years of musical training. His corrido and banda repertoire onstage is documented by the concert release En Vivo Desde Culiacán.
