About Lars Lilholt Band
Lars Lilholt Band is a Danish folk-rock group formed in 1982 around singer, violinist and songwriter Lars Lilholt after his time in Kræn Bysted's. The band plays Danish-language pop-rock rooted in folk music and is best known for “Kald det kærlighed”; “Onkel Christian” and “Den hvide dværg” are also established parts of its repertoire.
Lars Lilholt Band has toured Denmark’s summer venues for decades, performing at outdoor concert sites, theatres and festivals. That long-running concert tradition has included appearances at Smukfest in Skanderborg and Jelling Musikfestival.
