Last Train Home is an American roots-rock and alt-country band founded in Washington, D.C., by singer-songwriter Eric Brace in 1997. Its catalog includes the albums Bound Away, Time and Water and Last Good Kiss, built around narrative songwriting, country instrumentation and rock arrangements. A monthly residency at IOTA Club & Cafe in Arlington helped establish the band’s early live presence. After Eric Brace moved to Nashville, Last Train Home kept returning to the Washington area for recurring December concerts, later holding them at The Birchmere in Alexandria.
