Laufey in Mexico City

Laufey is an Icelandic singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, born in Reykjavík in 1999. She writes jazz-pop and bossa nova shaped by vocal jazz and classical music, and is known for “From the Start,” “Valentine,” and the albums Everything I Know About Love and Bewitched. Bewitched won the Grammy Award for Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album. The Everything I Know About Love Tour became her first headlining tour in 2022 and included dates across North America and Europe. She followed it with the Bewitched Tour in 2023 and Bewitched: The Goddess Tour in 2024. Later that year, she performed at the Hollywood Bowl accompanied by the Los Angeles Philharmonic. In 2024 she headlined New York’s Radio City Music Hall and London’s Royal Albert Hall, two large historic theatres.
