Laura Pausini in Messina

Laura Pausini is an Italian pop singer-songwriter, born in 1974, who became known after winning the newcomers’ section of the Sanremo Music Festival in 1993 with “La solitudine.” She records in Italian and Spanish, and her catalog includes “Strani amori,” “In assenza di te,” “Vivimi,” Le cose che vivi and Io canto. The Greatest Hits World Tour reached Madison Square Garden in 2014; the New York concert featured guest appearances by Gloria Estefan and Miguel Bosé. In 2019, Laura Pausini and Biagio Antonacci mounted Laura Biagio Stadi, a joint tour of Italian stadiums. She returned to arenas on the Laura Pausini World Tour 2023/2024, playing Madrid and Mexico City.
