Laurent Voulzy is a French singer, songwriter and composer, born in Paris in 1948, whose music sits between chanson and melodic pop. He is known for songs including “Rockollection,” “Le Cœur grenadine,” “Belle-Île-en-Mer, Marie-Galante” and “Le Soleil donne,” as well as a long writing partnership with Alain Souchon. The Lys & Love Tour placed material from the album Lys & Love in theatres, churches and historic settings. In 2015, Laurent Voulzy and Alain Souchon took their joint album on tour, performing together in major French venues; the live album Le Concert documented those shows with Alain Souchon.
