Lawrence in Los Angeles

Lawrence is the recording name of German electronic producer and DJ Peter M. Kersten, a central figure in Hamburg’s deep-house and minimal-techno scene. He co-founded Dial Records with Carsten Jost and Turner, and his catalogue includes the albums Yoyogi Park, The Absence of Blight and Until Then, Goodbye. Lawrence held a residency at Hamburg’s Golden Pudel Club, establishing the DJ set as the main format for his live work. He later played Panorama Bar in Berlin and Robert Johnson in Offenbach.
