LCD Soundsystem in Aspen

LCD Soundsystem is an American dance-punk band formed in 2002 by singer, songwriter and producer James Murphy. Electronic rhythms, post-punk guitars and disco grooves shape records including Sound of Silver and This Is Happening, while “Losing My Edge,” “Daft Punk Is Playing at My House,” “All My Friends” and “Dance Yrself Clean” became signature songs. LCD Soundsystem ended their original run with a farewell concert at Madison Square Garden in 2011, documented in the film Shut Up and Play the Hits. After reuniting, they performed at Webster Hall and headlined Coachella in 2016. They have repeatedly played New York through multi-night runs at Brooklyn Steel and have returned to London for concerts at Alexandra Palace.
