Le Roi Soleil in Geneva

Le Roi Soleil is a French stage musical created by producers Dove Attia and Albert Cohen, with staging and choreography by Kamel Ouali. It tells the story of Louis XIV and became known for songs including “Être à la hauteur,” “Je fais de toi mon essentiel” and “Tant qu’on rêve encore.” Le Roi Soleil opened at the Palais des Sports de Paris in 2005, with Emmanuel Moire as Louis XIV and Christophe Maé as Monsieur, the king’s brother. After its first engagement, the production toured France, Belgium and Switzerland before the original run ended in 2007 at Bercy.
