Lead in Tokyo

Lead is a Japanese dance-pop and pop-rap group formed in Osaka in 2002. Originally a four-member act, it became a trio after Hiroki Nakadoi’s departure. The group debuted with “Manatsu no Magic” and built its catalogue around singles including “Show me the way” and “Fly Away,” pairing group vocals and rap with choreographed dance. The Lead Upturn tour series has taken the group through concert halls and theatres across Japan. Lead later marked its 15th anniversary with a concert at Maihama Amphitheater and celebrated its 20th anniversary at Tachikawa Stage Garden.
