Mika Nakashima in Tokyo

Mika Nakashima is a Japanese singer and actress, born in Kagoshima in 1983. She made her recording debut with “Stars” and became known for ballads including “Yuki no Hana.” Her starring role in the film NANA also produced “Glamorous Sky,” released under the name Nana starring Mika Nakashima. The First Tour 2003 took her repertoire to concert halls around Japan. She followed it with Let’s Music Tour 2005 and Yes My Joy in 2007, tours built around the albums Music and Yes. In 2016, MTV Unplugged documented a smaller-format performance at Billboard Live Tokyo.
