Lee Roy Parnell in Watertown

Lee Roy Parnell is an American country and blues singer, songwriter and slide guitarist, born in Abilene, Texas, in 1956. He became known in the 1990s through songs including “What Kind of Fool Do You Think I Am,” “Tender Moment,” “On the Road” and “Heart’s Desire.” His key releases from that period include the albums Love Without Mercy and On the Road. Lee Roy Parnell performs with a band, singing lead and playing slide guitar. He has presented his country and blues repertoire at Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Guitar Festival and Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry.
