Leee John in Birmingham

Leee John is a British singer and songwriter best known as the lead vocalist of Imagination, the soul and funk group he co-founded in 1981. His falsetto led recordings including “Just an Illusion,” “Body Talk,” “Music and Lights” and the album In the Heat of the Night. During the 1980s, Leee John toured internationally as Imagination’s frontman. A later concert at L’Olympia in Paris was documented on Live at the Olympia, and he also performs the group’s catalogue at UK nostalgia festivals including Rewind Festival and Let’s Rock.
