Artist
LEENALCHI is a South Korean band formed in Seoul in 2018, pairing pansori vocals and traditional narratives with bass-led alternative pop. Their album Sugungga reworks the pansori tale of the same name, while “Tiger Is Coming” became widely known through the Feel the Rhythm of Korea videos made with Ambiguous Dance Company. The band recorded an NPR Tiny Desk (home) concert in 2020, performing with multiple singers, two bass guitars and drums. Later international appearances included performances at Glastonbury Festival and Roskilde Festival.
