Lenka Filipova in Jindřichův Hradec

Lenka Filipova is a Czech singer-songwriter and classical guitarist, born in Prague in 1954. Her best-known songs include “Zamilovaná,” a Czech adaptation of Francis Cabrel’s “Je l’aime à mourir,” as well as “Prý se tomu říká láska” and “Za všechno může čas.” Her catalogue also includes the classical-guitar project Concertino. The Concertino project became a recurring part of her stage work, placing classical-guitar pieces beside songs from her pop repertoire. She later brought the Celtic-oriented material of Oppidum to theatres and concert halls.
