About Leonardo
Leonardo is the stage name of Brazilian sertanejo singer Emival Eterno da Costa, born in Goianápolis, Goiás, in 1963. He began his career in the duo Leandro & Leonardo with his brother Leandro, recording songs including “Entre Tapas e Beijos” and “Pense em Mim.” After Leandro’s death in 1998, he released his first solo album, Tempo, in 1999, and later recorded the Cabaré project with Eduardo Costa.
Leandro & Leonardo performed at Canecão in Rio de Janeiro during their years together. Leonardo later appeared at the Coração Brasileiro tribute to Leandro in Paris.
