Les Brünettes in Mörfelden-Walldorf

Les Brünettes are a German a cappella quartet formed in 2010 by four jazz singers who met while studying in Mannheim. Their repertoire combines original material with close-harmony arrangements, and their recorded work includes the female-songwriter-focused A Women Thing and their reinterpretation of the Beatles catalogue, The Beatles Close-Up. The A Women Thing concert programme brought songs associated with female artists into theatres and jazz venues through four-part vocal arrangements. The quartet later built a complete stage programme around The Beatles Close-Up, performing its reworked Beatles songs as a four-voice ensemble.
