Leslie Jones in Fort Lauderdale

Leslie Jones is an American stand-up comedian, actor and writer born in Memphis in 1967. She is known for her work as a writer and cast member on Saturday Night Live, her role in the 2016 film Ghostbusters and her run as host of Supermarket Sweep. Jones began performing stand-up while attending Colorado State University, after a friend entered her in a campus comedy contest that she won. She later worked at Los Angeles clubs including The Comedy Store, and her 2020 stand-up special Time Machine was recorded before an audience at The Anthem in Washington, D.C.
