About Levellers
Levellers are an English folk-rock band formed in Brighton in 1988. Punk energy, traditional fiddle and politically direct songwriting shaped albums including Levelling the Land and Ze Zeitgeist, while “One Way” and “What a Beautiful Day” became signature songs.
In 1994, they headlined the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury Festival. In 2003, the band founded its own annual festival, Beautiful Days, at Escot Park in Devon, where Levellers traditionally perform the closing set.
