About Lightyear
Lightyear are a British ska-punk band formed in Derby in 1997. Their fast, brass-driven sound is documented on the albums Call of the Weasel Clan and Chris Gentlemens Hairdresser and Railway Book Shop, both released through Household Name Records.
Lightyear ended their original run with a farewell concert at Derby Assembly Rooms in 2003. They reunited for UK dates in 2012 and later performed at Slam Dunk Festival.
