Lil Jon & James Hype in Peoria

Lil Jon is an American rapper, producer and DJ born in Atlanta in 1971. As the leader of Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz, he brought crunk into mainstream hip-hop through albums including Kings of Crunk and Crunk Juice. His best-known tracks include “Get Low,” “What U Gon’ Do” and “Snap Yo Fingers,” while his work with Usher on “Yeah!” and DJ Snake on “Turn Down for What” extended his reach into pop and electronic dance music. At the 2014 Billboard Music Awards, Lil Jon and DJ Snake performed “Turn Down for What” at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. A decade later, he joined Usher’s Super Bowl LVIII halftime show for “Turn Down for What” and “Yeah!” at Allegiant Stadium.

James Hype is a British DJ and producer from Liverpool who plays house and tech house. He is known for “More Than Friends” featuring Kelli-Leigh, “Ferrari” with Miggy Dela Rosa and “Drums” featuring Kim Petras. In 2022, James Hype and Meduza introduced their Our House event series at Amsterdam Dance Event, later bringing it to The Brooklyn Mirage in New York. His performances are DJ sets centred on rapid, hands-on mixing across multiple decks. James Hype continues to perform outside Britain, appearing at Tomorrowland in Boom and EDC Las Vegas. His UK festival history also includes Creamfields in Cheshire.
