About L'Impératrice
L'Impératrice is a French pop and electronic band formed in Paris in 2012 by keyboardist Charles de Boisseguin. Its music draws on disco, funk and synth-pop, and the group is known for albums including Matahari, Tako Tsubo and Pulsar, as well as songs such as “Vanille fraise,” “Agitations” and “Peur des filles.”
In 2022, the band performed at Coachella and brought the Tako Tsubo repertoire to Zénith Paris - La Villette. L'Impératrice returned to Coachella in 2024 and later performed at Glastonbury Festival.
