Lip Critic is an American electronic punk band formed in New York City in 2018. The group builds its digital-hardcore sound around vocals, samplers and two drummers. Its releases include the album Hex Dealer and the songs “Milky Max,” “It’s the Magic” and “The Heart.” Lip Critic took Hex Dealer on the road in 2024, playing headline club dates and opening selected shows on IDLES’ TANGK tour. The band’s festival appearances have included SXSW in Austin and the 2024 Glastonbury Festival.
