About Liraz
Liraz is an Israeli singer-songwriter and actress of Iranian-Jewish heritage who performs contemporary Persian pop shaped by electronic music and psychedelic rock. Her albums Naz, Zan and Roya include songs such as “Zan Bezan” and connect her own writing to the sounds of pre-revolutionary Iranian pop.
At WOMAD, Liraz presented her Persian-language songs in a full-band set. Roskilde Festival has also hosted Liraz and her touring band.
