Little Feat is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1969 by singer-guitarist Lowell George and keyboardist Bill Payne. They play rock shaped by blues, funk, country and New Orleans rhythm and blues. The band is known for songs including “Willin’” and “Dixie Chicken,” and for the albums Sailin’ Shoes, Dixie Chicken and Feats Don’t Fail Me Now. Concerts at the Rainbow Theatre in London and Lisner Auditorium in Washington were recorded in 1977 for the live album Waiting for Columbus.
