Fern Brady is a Scottish stand-up comedian and writer, born in Bathgate in 1986. Her direct autobiographical comedy draws on class, sex, mental health and autism. She is also known for appearing on Taskmaster and for her memoir Strong Female Character. Fern Brady presented Power & Chaos at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and subsequently toured the show. Autistic Bikini Queen followed as a theatre tour, and it was filmed at Bristol Old Vic for a Netflix special.
David O'Doherty is an Irish comedian, writer and musician, born in 1975. He is known for understated stand-up and comic songs played on a small electronic keyboard, as well as appearances on QI and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. His published work includes the Danger Is Everywhere children’s book series, created with illustrator Chris Judge. At the 2008 Edinburgh Festival Fringe, his show Let’s Comedy won the if.comedy Award. He returned with touring shows including Big Time and You Have to Laugh, and performed at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival as part of his international live work. His stage show is a solo performance that alternates spoken stand-up with original songs on a compact Yamaha keyboard. He performs most often in Ireland and Britain, appearing in theatres in Dublin and London; in Australia, he has played comedy festivals in Brisbane and Perth.
