Long Distance Calling in Arbon

Long Distance Calling are a German instrumental rock band formed in Münster in 2006. Their music draws on post-rock, progressive rock and metal, built around extended guitar-led compositions. Key albums include Satellite Bay, Avoid the Light, Boundless, How Do We Want to Live? and Eraser; The Flood Inside and Trips also brought vocals into a largely instrumental catalogue. The 2019 Seats & Sounds concerts were documented on STUMMFILM – Live from Hamburg, capturing the group in a seated concert setting. A later concert release, Live at Lichtburg, preserved an Eraser-era performance at the Lichtburg cinema in Essen.
