Lorna Shore is an American deathcore band formed in New Jersey in 2009. The band plays blackened, symphonic deathcore and is known for the albums Immortal and Pain Remains, as well as the song “To the Hellfire,” recorded after Will Ramos became its vocalist. The 2022 Pain Remains Tour took Lorna Shore across North America with Aborted, Ingested, AngelMaker and Ov Sulfur. The following year, the band opened the North American Mega-Monsters Tour for Gojira and Mastodon. Outside the United States, the band has headlined Alexandra Palace in London and performed at Hellfest in Clisson.
The Acacia Strain is an American metal band formed in Chicopee, Massachusetts, in 2001. Their music draws on deathcore, metalcore and hardcore, built around low-tuned guitars and Vincent Bennett’s vocals. Albums including The Dead Walk, Continent and Wormwood established the band’s sound, while “Beast” and “The Hills Have Eyes” became enduring parts of its catalogue. A 2008 performance at The Palladium in Worcester was filmed for the live release The Most Known Unknown. The band later spent the summer of 2011 on Vans Warped Tour, then returned to the road in 2021 to perform Wormwood in full on the Wormwood 10 Year Anniversary Tour.
