Artists
Lorrie Morgan is an American country singer born in Nashville in 1959 and the daughter of country performer George Morgan. She became known for songs including “Five Minutes,” “What Part of No,” “Something in Red” and “Except for Monday,” as well as the albums Leave the Light On, Something in Red and Watch Me. At 13, she made her first appearance at the Grand Ole Opry, then joined its cast in 1984 and has performed there throughout her career. She later teamed with Pam Tillis for the touring show Grits and Glamour, a concert built around both singers’ individual hits and duets.
Pam Tillis is an American country singer-songwriter, born in 1957 and raised in Nashville. The daughter of country singer Mel Tillis, she became known through 1990s recordings including “Maybe It Was Memphis,” “Shake the Sugar Tree” and “Mi Vida Loca (My Crazy Life),” as well as the albums Put Yourself in My Place and Sweetheart’s Dance. Pam Tillis became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 2000 and has performed on its Nashville stage across subsequent decades. She later teamed with Lorrie Morgan for Grits and Glamour, a touring show featuring both singers’ solo hits and duets.
