Los Angeles Negros in Guadalajara

Los Angeles Negros is a Chilean band formed in San Carlos in 1968, known for Latin pop and romantic ballads colored by bolero, electric guitar and organ. The group’s best-known recordings include “Y volveré,” “Murió la flor,” “Como quisiera decirte” and “Déjenme si estoy llorando.” During the 1970s, Los Angeles Negros toured throughout Latin America and built a particularly lasting audience in Mexico, where the group later established its base. Successive lineups have kept the songs in a full-band concert repertoire closely associated with original lead singer Germaín de la Fuente.
