Los Yonic's & Los Caminantes in Santa Fe Springs

Los Yonic's are a Mexican grupera band formed in San Luis San Pedro, Guerrero, in 1975. Their romantic ballads and cumbias became staples of the genre, led by songs including “Palabras tristes,” “Rosas blancas,” “Soy yo” and “Pero te vas a arrepentir.” Los Yonic's toured Mexico and the United States for decades, bringing that romantic repertoire to theatres, fairs and dance venues. For much of the group’s live history, its principal voice was José Manuel Zamacona.

Los Caminantes are a Mexican grupera band formed by the Ramírez brothers in San Francisco del Rincón, Guanajuato, in 1976. Their repertoire draws on romantic ballads, ranchera and norteño, and includes songs such as “Supe Perder,” “Para Qué Quieres Volver,” “Todo Me Gusta de Ti” and “Dos Cartas y una Flor.” Los Caminantes have spent decades touring in dance halls, theatres and regional Mexican music events. Their concerts present the group’s romantic songs and rancheras in a full-band format, and most of their live work has taken place in Mexico and the United States.
