Lotto King Karl & Die Barmbek Dream Boys are a German rock-and-pop act led by singer Lotto King Karl, the stage name of Hamburg native Gerrit Heesemann. They are best known for “Hamburg, meine Perle,” a song closely associated with Hamburger SV and its supporters.
For many years, Lotto King Karl & Die Barmbek Dream Boys performed “Hamburg, meine Perle” before HSV home matches at the Volksparkstadion, making the song part of the club’s pre-match tradition. Away from football, the band also returned for recurring summer concerts at Stadtpark Open Air.
