Lou Gramm is an American rock singer and songwriter, born in Rochester, New York, in 1950, best known as the original lead vocalist of Foreigner. He sang on the band’s hits “Feels Like the First Time,” “Cold as Ice,” “Hot Blooded,” “Juke Box Hero” and “I Want to Know What Love Is.” His solo work includes the albums Ready or Not and Long Hard Look, and the songs “Midnight Blue” and “Just Between You and Me.” Lou Gramm toured arenas with Foreigner during the album cycles for 4 and Agent Provocateur, then performed under his own name after beginning his solo career. In 2017, he joined Mick Jones, Ian McDonald and Al Greenwood for a 40th-anniversary Foreigner concert at Jones Beach in Wantagh.
John Waite is an English rock singer and songwriter, born in Lancaster in 1952. He first became known as the lead singer of The Babys, whose songs included “Isn't It Time” and “Every Time I Think of You,” before establishing a solo career with the album No Brakes and the hit “Missing You.” He later fronted Bad English and sang the band's “When I See You Smile.” In 2003, Waite toured as a featured member of Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band, performing songs from his solo catalogue and earlier groups within the ensemble's rotating show. The 40 Years of Missing You tour followed in 2024, presenting a full-band set drawn from his solo work, The Babys and Bad English.
