Louis Bertignac in Caluire-et-Cuire

Louis Bertignac is a French guitarist, singer and songwriter, born in Oran in 1954. He co-founded the rock band Téléphone and played on songs including “La bombe humaine,” “Un autre monde” and his composition “Cendrillon”; his work after the group included “Ces idées-là” with Bertignac et les Visiteurs. Téléphone gave its first concert at the American Center in Paris in 1976, then built its live reputation through extensive touring and an opening appearance for the Rolling Stones at the Hippodrome d’Auteuil in 1982. In 2015, he reunited with Jean-Louis Aubert and Richard Kolinka as Les Insus, whose tour concluded in 2017 with concerts at the Stade de France.
