Lovebites in Kuala Lumpur

Lovebites are a Japanese all-female heavy metal band formed in Tokyo in 2016. Their music draws on power metal and speed metal, led by twin guitars and the clean vocals of Asami. Albums including Awakening from Abyss, Electric Pentagram and Judgement Day feature songs such as “Holy War” and “When Destinies Align.” Lovebites performed at Wacken Open Air in 2018, followed by an appearance at Download Festival in 2019. After bassist Fami joined in 2022, the band returned to the stage in 2023 and embarked on The Thin Line Between Love and Hate World Tour in 2024. The band plays most often in Japan, while its European itineraries have included the United Kingdom and Germany.
