Lowest of the Low in Oshawa

Lowest of the Low is a Canadian alternative-rock band formed in Toronto in 1991. Led by singer and guitarist Ron Hawkins, the group became known for its debut album, Shakespeare My Butt..., and songs including “Rosy and Grey,” “Salesmen, Cheats and Liars” and “Henry Needs a New Pair of Shoes.” The follow-up album Hallucigenia arrived before the band’s initial breakup. Following that 1994 split, Lowest of the Low reunited in 2000 for concerts at Lee’s Palace in Toronto; recordings from those performances became the live album Nothing Short of a Bullet. In 2011, the band marked the 20th anniversary of Shakespeare My Butt... with a concert at Massey Hall.
