About Lucius
Lucius is an American indie-pop band formed in Brooklyn in 2007 and led by singers Jess Wolfe and Holly Laessig. Their close vocal harmonies are central to albums including Wildewoman, Good Grief and Second Nature, as well as songs such as “Turn It Around,” “Two of Us on the Run” and “Born Again Teen.”
The Second Nature Tour took Lucius through North American theatres in 2022, including New York’s Beacon Theatre. The band later marked a decade of its debut album by playing it in full on Wildewoman: The Anniversary Tour.
Lucius performs as a full band, with Wolfe and Laessig sharing lead vocals while also playing keyboards and percussion.
Lucius has appeared more than once at Newport Folk Festival and has also performed at Bonnaroo.
