Lucy Woodward in Hamburg

Lucy Woodward is an American singer-songwriter, born in London and raised in New York, who performs jazz, soul and pop. Her 2003 debut album, While You Can, featured the single “Dumb Girls”; her later records include Hooked! and ’Til They Bang on the Door. Lucy Woodward toured as a backing vocalist in Rod Stewart’s band, then appeared in Snarky Puppy’s filmed live Family Dinner – Volume One sessions to sing “Too Hot to Last.” She later recorded Music!Music!Music! with guitarist Charlie Hunter and toured with him as a voice-and-guitar duo.
