Luis Alfonso Partida El Yaki is a Mexican regional-music singer from Mazatlán, Sinaloa, known for banda, norteño and sierreño songs. He first became widely known as a lead vocalist for Banda El Recodo de Don Cruz Lizárraga, then established a solo career whose best-known recordings include “Dile a Tu Orgullo” with Grupo Firme.
Luis Alfonso Partida El Yaki spent part of his early live career performing with Banda El Recodo before taking his own show to fairs, palenques and concert halls. His solo appearances have included the Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City, and his Yakifest concerts in Mazatlán have featured invited singers and groups from regional Mexican music.
