Lyubov Uspenskaya is a Russian singer born in Kyiv in 1954, known for Russian chanson, urban romance and pop. Her signature songs include “Kabriolet,” “Propadayu ya” and “K yedinstvennomu, nezhnomu.”

Early in her career, she sang in restaurants in Kislovodsk and Yerevan. After emigrating to the United States in the late 1970s, she performed for Russian-speaking audiences in New York and later worked in Los Angeles. She returned to Russia in the 1990s, and her later solo programs included concerts at Crocus City Hall in Moscow.
