Machine Girl is an American electronic project created on Long Island by producer and vocalist Matt Stephenson in 2012. Its breakcore and digital-hardcore sound is documented on releases including WLFGRL, ...Because I’m Young Arrogant and Hate Everything You Stand For and U-Void Synthesizer; Stephenson also composed the soundtrack for the video game Neon White. In 2015, Machine Girl became a two-person live act when drummer Sean Kelly joined Stephenson, adding live drums to the vocals and electronics. Their later club and theatre work included North American dates supporting The Garden on the 2022 Horseshit on Route 66 tour.
