About Machine Head
Machine Head is an American metal band formed in Oakland in 1991 by singer and guitarist Robb Flynn and bassist Adam Duce. Their groove- and thrash-metal catalogue includes the debut album Burn My Eyes, The Blackening and songs such as “Davidian,” “Imperium” and “Halo.”
The Eighth Plague tour brought Machine Head to Wembley Arena in 2011; Bring Me the Horizon, DevilDriver and Darkest Hour also performed on the tour. In 2019, the Burn My Eyes 25th Anniversary Tour used a two-part format, culminating in a full performance of the debut album by Flynn, guitarist Logan Mader, drummer Chris Kontos and bassist Jared MacEachern.
Machine Head performed at both Download Festival and Wacken Open Air. The band also headlined Bloodstock Open Air.
