Maciej Maleńczuk in Częstochowa

Maciej Maleńczuk is a Polish singer, guitarist and songwriter, born in 1961, whose work ranges across alternative rock, sung poetry, pop and jazz. He is known as a solo artist and as the frontman of Pudelsi and Homo Twist; his best-known recordings include “Ostatnia nocka,” “Tango libido” and the album Psychodancing. In the 1980s, he spent several years performing as a street musician in Krakow before becoming the singer of Pudelsi in 1986. After forming Homo Twist in 1993, he played clubs and festivals with the group, while later concerts under his own name drew on solo records and songs associated with Pudelsi and Homo Twist.
