Macy Gray in Poznan

Macy Gray is an American soul and R&B singer-songwriter, born in Canton, Ohio, in 1967. Her raspy voice became widely known through the 1999 debut album On How Life Is and its singles “I Try,” “Still” and “Why Didn’t You Call Me.” In 2000, Gray performed at Glastonbury Festival as the success of her debut took her to international stages. At the Montreux Jazz Festival in 2004, she recorded a performance later issued as a concert film, and in 2005 she appeared at Live 8 in Philadelphia.
